Louie

Louie is a stunning purebred Norwegian Forest boy with loads of personality. He's very affectionate and loves snuggling wherever his humans are hanging out. His gorgeous long coat of silken softness, plume of a tail and huge mane make Louie simply picture-purrfect!

The name Louie means Famous Warrior which perfectly describes his dog-like personality and desire to be his human's protector - complete with his own Zorro mask!

He loves being the centre of attention and will follow you to the ends of the earth - or at least around the house! Louie loves people and will greet visitors in the hope of getting attention.

Louie is still young and loves playing. He's fun to watch when he finds a toy and starts playing, especially when he starts talking and bringing toys to his human.

Louie has been raised as an indoor only cat with access to an enclosed garden where he enjoys spending time napping - after he's checked the perimeter.

While being great with humans of all ages, Louie will be best suited as an only pet as he's not great at sharing attention with other pets.

Please note Louie is being re-homed due to difficult personal circumstances for his previous owners. He's been very loved and cared for by the family, who are upset about having to find him a new home. He will come with all his own things when he moves, including bed, toys, litter trays, bowls/plates plus a selection of food and litter to help him settle.

The playful Norwegian Forest Cat is a large, muscular, friendly cat and is lovingly known as the Wegie (pronounced “wee-gee”). While larger than your average domestic cat he's a true gentle giant that befriends everyone he meets, while still maintaining his independence.

Wegies tend to be loyal often devoting themselves to one member of the family but wanting to be adored by all. He's extremely intelligent, resourceful and mild-mannered as well as being playful and interactive.

Wegies mature slowly, maintaining a kitten-like demeanour until about 5 years old. Because of their origins as a true hunter, they love pouncing and practicing their natural hunting skills with toys. He might even patrol his territory to ensure everything is in order.

Wegies are wonderful, family-friendly cats adaptable to many homes and living situations. While they’re highly social they’re also known to be independent preferring to come and go rather than cuddle in a lap all day long.
