Sevro - 5 Month Old Cattle Dog X (Trial 23/9/23)

Meet Sevro, a 5 month old male Cattle X Staffy puppy. Sevro is extremely affectionate and loves to have cuddles and pats. He currently weighs 15kg and will grow into a medium sized dog.

Sevro currently lives in foster care with other dogs and he's dog friendly. He likes to play, but most of all he just loves being with you.

Arriving in foster care is the first time Sevro has known a loving home and so he still needs training. His foster carers are working on building his skills in things such as sit, stay, lie down and walking on the lead. He is making great progress with his toilet training. Sevro is crate trained and sleeps quietly in his crate overnight without any accidents. Sevro is a very smart boy and he's keen to learn.

Sevro will need further dedicated training in his new home. We always recommend taking your rescue puppy to dog obedience classes to give your new family member the best start in life.

It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher and companion for Sevro. Alternatively he would also be fine in a home as the only dog, as he has shown that he can spend time by himself and be calm and content.

Sevro needs to be welcomed inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. Sevro does jump up on people to try to get their attention . His foster carers are working on this to help him understand that he only gets attention when all 4 feet are on the ground. Because he jumps up, he is only suitable for children 10 years and older. You need good fencing, at least 5.5 ft tall, with no small gaps.

Sevro is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW and is available for adoption interstate. Sevro's adoption fee is $600 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.
