About Sammy - 5 Month Old Staffy X (Trial 8/10/23)
Meet the super cute, expert snuggler Sammy. Sammy is a five month old Staffy cross who is on the lookout for his forever family. Could this be you?
Sammy is a timid boy, but his tail never stops wagging. He is always happy to see you. He just loves being with you and will follow you everywhere.
He is a true sweetheart. Always up for a snuggle and cuddle.
While Sammy is still quite timid of new people and environments, he does quickly warm to you and will look to you for guidance and reassurance when trying new things. Once he knows he is safe, he will give anything a go.
Sammy lives with two small humans who are seven and eight, who he adores and constantly follows around.
Sammy is super smart. He is currently learning how to be the bestest dog. Learning basic commands such as sit, stay, down, drop and in your bed. He can use a doggy door and walks well on a lead. He sleeps quietly through the night in a crate inside. He is also trying his hardest at toilet training. Sammy is a fast learner but like all puppies, he will benefit from puppy school and ongoing training.
Sammy has had good socialisation with dogs of all ages and currently lives with three small male dogs all over the age of 10.
Sammy would benefit from having a calm social doggie companion of similar size, that is used to puppies and who he could learn from. He could however happily adjust to being an only dog if his humans were around more often than not and showered him with attention.
It is anticipated that Sammy will be a medium sized dog once fully grown.
Sammy's overview
- Needs a family committed to ongoing puppy training, socialisation, exercise, play and lots of walks.
- Needs a family committed to continue toilet training.
- Needs to be an inside/outside dog with a bed inside at night.
- Fully fenced large yard with high fences.
-True to his breed, Sammy has a loving and affectionate personality and deserves a fun-loving family who welcomes him into the family home and shares in their adventures.
Sammy has not been tested with cats or pocket pets so a home without these would be best.
Sammy is in foster care in New Lambton Heights NSW and is available for adoption interstate. His adoption fee is $600 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.
