About Bruno & Bella
Introducing bonded sibling pups Bruno and Bella
Bruno and Bella have found themselves in need of a new home at only 5 months of age as their previous owner has sadly passed away.
These 2 young, chunky, wrinkled kids are happy, easy going and well socialised with other dogs. They have recently been desexed, vaccinated and protected from heart worm and are now ready to move into the right forever home together.
Sharpei’s are a brilliant breed of dog, they are a wonderful, loyal companion and a constant source of entertainment HOWEVER they are suited to only a select type of owner.
The Sharpei owner NEEDS to be a confident and experienced mentor who is a true pack leader at all times. These dogs need plenty of firm, consistent training and early and ongoing socialisation.
It is very important that their new human family has both the time, energy and patience to train these kids and ensure they have good social etiquette at all times. Pie’s are a very loyal and loving breed of dog. They really enjoy their human company and will seek it out. They are known for their devotion towards their owner/family.
Then there is their upkeep - these guys are already close to 20kgs each and they will end up around 25kg each when fully grown. They can be strong on lead but love a good walk. They have sensitive skin so need a very good quality diet and regular ear cleaning as they are susceptible to ear infections.
If you have -
Good dog experience, even better if you have Sharpei experience
Are a strong but gentle pack leader
The time to train and socialise these kids ongoing
Can commit financially to providing a high quality diet and maintain there skin and ears
Manage walking them
Have a good and safe home environment for them to enjoy as full members of the family
Then please apply for these special babies.
Adoption details
Animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and on heartworm prevention / and also FIV tested for cats where possible. They are not available for adoption outside NSW (except ACT). Please email par.adoptions@gmail.com if you would like further information.

Please be aware that Paws and Recover is run by volunteers who also work. We endeavour to answer enquires as quickly as possible. Some animals will inevitably be very popular and will generate many enquires. Where there is a high volume of enquires received, it will be our priority to contact those that best fit the requirements of the animal. This may mean that it is not possible for all enquires to be answered. Please keep an eye on the website for all updates.
Providing quality information as a part of your enquiry including information about your home environment, family, work hours, other pets and what you are looking for in a companion animal along with what you can offer one will greatly assist.
Please always provide a contact phone number as a part of your enquiry.
