Michigan is an older boy who very much enjoys the company of humans so although he can be left home alone inside and does not get destructive, he would prefer a home where he is not alone for most of the days.

He gets excited when he sees a lead, so his new family will ideally be able to commit to at least a couple of walks per week. Though as much as he enjoys walks, he is also happy to be at home supervising any kitchen activity or snoring away on his bed while his humans relax on the couch!

Michigan only barks with purpose (e.g. door knocks, loud noises) and is house trained as long as he has access outside or is taken out a few times a day. He is currently living harmoniously with 3 resident cats in his foster home and has interacted with toddlers without issue.

Michigan is mostly a very chilled out boy though like all dogs he does get very excited at mealtimes and will put on a bit of a show for you with whimpers, spins, bum wags and will eventually sit with a single raised paw!!! He also loves to ‘supervise’ (aka sit in front of you and stare deep into your soul) while you are having your meals as well!
