Hello, my name is Poppy and I believe that every person is my friend, so if you are looking for a guard dog, I have no idea what that means. I only use my bark when I really need to, I use my sweet doggy eyes way more. When you meet me, you will understand why my name is Poppy, I tend to pop around with excitement for a minute or so, this might be a problem if I bump into young children. My current humans go off to work and leave me alone during the day, I can handle that but I really, really like to be around people, so it would be much better if my furever human/s were home more than not. Wherever you are, I will come up for a cuddle, and then will lie close by to simply keep an eye on you. I travel comfortably in the car, walk well on lead and think all the dogs barking as I walk past are a little weird so I generally don’t have a response. I have great manners, I will sit and wait for my food, I love a good bone to chew on and I don’t dig holes.
Adoption details
First you need to email and inquire about whatever animal you are looking at to find out more information. If you believe this animal may suit you we will discuss the adoption process and go from there. All our animals are located in Townsville, North Queensland. If you are interstate or not a local the Angel Paws team are more than happy to answer as many questions you have about the animal to ensure they are the right one for you. We are also able to provide more pictures from the animals foster carers to assist you on your decision. The rest of the adoption process all depends on those first steps.
