About Sadie
*In foster care in Westmead, Sydney*
Sweet Sadie is a small girl with a big personality! This delightful kitten was rescued from a colony and socialised in foster care, so she's still getting used to the wonders of domestic life - but she gives great cuddles once she gets comfortable (helped along by lots of love and understanding, and loads of Dine creamy treats!).
Like all Maggie's pets, Sadie is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be quiet and settled, with a sense of security and calm. Loud noises are scary! But over time, I'll get more relaxed - you'll just have to be patient with me.
Oh, and in case you missed it earlier, I'll do anything for a Dine creamy treat! I'll stand like a meerkat, have sat for it (with some prompting), and am often brought to a standstill by how incredible it is. So please have plenty of these on tap :)
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Kitten! When you first meet me, I may be a little timid but that's not who I really am - I bounce off the walls once I feel safe, and you'll hear me zooming around with my toys in the middle of the night before settling on you for a quick nap and then starting again! I especially love a good wand toy or kicker.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'd be fine with kids who know how to interact with cats. Gentle hands and giving me space are the key!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I've spent time with cats before, and I felt a teensy bit nervous - but curious, too! I reckon as long as I have somewhere safe to retreat to, and as much time as I need to adapt, I’ll slowly get the hang of multi-cat life.
I haven't met any dogs at this stage.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
