About Harold (Harry)
Hiya there! I'm Harold, but most people call me Harry! I'm a 4-year young, peppy, outgoing fella who can't wait to meet everyone!
Oh, what can I say about myself? I'm quite the character! My carer fondly describes me as a goofy, friendly and cuddly boy! I'm a real entertainer. I sometimes like to chase a ball and pounce on them and then takes them back to his nest. I also love a good zoomie, but I'm also a huge fan of just lounging around with my paws in the air, expecting belly rubs.
I love attention and I'm always ready for a cheeky cuddle, regardless of who it is! I’m rather proud of my 'cuddle-bug' trait. I’ve met my fair share of people, and I must say, I've never met a stranger. I have a unique superpower to warm up to people really quickly. I love having a good head scratching.
I LOVE walks! Exploring the neighborhood for new and exotic smells is an all-time favorite activity. Oh, and my radar dish ears don’t miss a thing!
But, if you think I'm just all cuddles and wagging tails, you'd be wrong! I also have a silly side. I have a habit of pouncing on my toys (yes, we greyhounds can pounce too!) and hilariously throw them around for myself! Isn't that what you call self-sufficient?
I am just a genuinely happy, sweet, loving and chilled out boy.

Adoption details
STEP 1 – ENQUIRE & EOI FORM:
https://greytgreys.org/adoption-form/
If the greyhound you have applied for is unavailable or unsuitable, we can match you with a more suitable greyhound. We may have a hound in foster care who might be well suited to your family.
STEP 2 – LET'S CHAT:
We'll phone you to discuss suitability, clarify any points of your application and chat process and next steps.
STEP 3 – HOUSE CHECK & MEET + GREET:
We'll come to you! The meet + greet is conducted at the same time that a house check is carried out. The meet + greet is the day that your newly adopted greyhound will be able to stay on with you.
Our adoption fee is $375.00 and must be paid on on the day of the meet + greet, and prior to starting your 3 week trial. Support from our team is freely available. If you have any issues, we urge you to contact us to try and work through them, as all rescue greyhounds have some period of adjustment.
If after the 3 week trial, you feel that you need to return the greyhound, we will refund your adoption fee (less a $50 administration fee), upon return of the dog and all paperwork and other items that the dog was adopted with.
All of our hounds are adopted out with the following:
> Collar, lead & coat
> Certificate of sterilisation & vaccination
> Flea & worm treated
> Care information for your newly adopted greyhound
> Access to our private Facebook page for foster carers, volunteers and adopters of our hounds. A community with invaluable advice and support.
