About Luna
Luna is a beautiful 2 year old red kelpie x cattle dog. She has a very sweet personality and as her name (meaning ‘moon’) indicates, she can light up the room with her beautiful energy!
She’s petite (13kg) but has lots of energy. She would love a family who can take her for long walks, go on hikes and involve her in everyday life. After her morning walk she knows how to switch off and can stay home alone. Her foster family has been crate training her and she’s been sleeping happily in her crate at night.
Luna is very clever and likes to please her humans, she has a very good recall, can sit, lie down, stay, touch and wait patiently for her food. She’s food driven and will love to keep learning new tricks.
Luna gets on great with other dogs and is playful and polite with them. She’s been having a blast running around the place with her foster sister, and would enjoy having another dog to play and hang out with in her forever home, although it’s not a must. She has a very cuddly side and will happily watch TV snuggled up with her humans. Muster dogs is her favourite show!
Luna would best suit an active single or family with knowledge of working dogs and a large backyard. She can sometimes be a little shy with men but with patience she soon comes out of her shell. She needs someone who is dedicated to continuing on with her training and manners, and who will give her love, boundaries and guidance..
If this is you, and you’re looking for your best mate, pop in an application today!
Luna is located in NSW.
