About Maurizio
Maurizio is an incredibly handsome and suave Siberian Husky with piercing blue eyes and gorgeous red coat. Friendly with humans and dogs alike, he is a social boy who loves to get out and about!
Maurizio is fairly typical of an Arctic Breed, he is a bit cheeky, tests the boundaries and is far too intelligent for his own good. Thankfully he is generally a lovely boy who is fairly relaxed at home and happy to chill when when his foster carers are not home and when it's time to kick back.
Of course, he loves a daily adventure and it's imperative that he gets this, huskies after all are bred to run after all. Maurizio is still working on his leash manners but is a smart boy so with consistency, he'll get it.
MY IDEAL HOME: Maurizio’s new family will ideally have a bit of dog experience, he does like to test boundaries on occasion however he is not a difficult dog so anyone committed to exercise and a bit of training could work.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Maurizio is an active boy who loves to run and play, that being said he is also pretty good at settling at home. He requires daily exercise and mental enrichment to ensure he is a happy, healthy boy.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Whilst he is happy meeting children out and about, he hasn’t lived with children. We think dog savvy kids and 8 and up would be okay.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Maurizio gets on well with other dogs, he could be placed in a home with dog a similar size or solo. He is not suited to a home with cats or pocket pets.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
