About Kate
Kate is an exuberant and joyful young lady who embraces life with confidence. Our beautiful golden-hued girl draws a lot of admirers during her walks and at our market gatherings. She possesses a loving and inquisitive nature, with a dash of delightful playfulness. The sparkle in her eyes has a captivating effect on everyone she encounters.
Currently cohabiting with two fellow greyhounds, Charlie and Jack (a male and a female) and she maintains harmonious relationships with both. Kate enthusiastically keeps pace with you during her twice-daily strolls, and she revels in mingling with new human and canine friends.
Back at home, Kate finds immense joy in frolicking around the yard. She engages with her toys by tossing them up into the air, indulging in a run around the yard before contentedly settling into day-long naps. Kate loves car rides, eagerly hopping in and relishing the journey to her next escapade. Negotiating stairs is another skill she has mastered.
Kate treasures the presence of her human companions at home, but she can also manage her time alone if she has greyhound siblings for company. She has even proven to be an excellent office companion, joining her Mum at work when the opportunity arises.
During the night, Kate shares the lounge room with her long dog pals, and she occasionally makes a charming morning appearance in the human bedroom, seeking a warm pat and cuddle to start the day. Kate's radiant and delightful disposition has the power to infuse every day with sunshine and positivity.

Adoption details
Dogs are pack animals and Greyhounds, in particular, are very familiar with being surrounded by other dogs in their racing kennel environment. For this reason, when left alone without people or other dogs for company, some can be prone to separation anxiety which can manifest in destructive and/or noisy behaviour.
As a result we look to rehome dogs into households where they are not left on their own for more than 4 hours per day on a regular basis, without either people or another dog for company. We are happy discuss strategies such as a dog walker or doggy day care. Going to work with you is also a great option

Following your initial application, we conduct a home check. Our dogs are placed on a two week trial. The adoption fee is paid at time of placement and reimbursed if the trial is unsuccessful.
After the trial period is deemed successful, the adoption process is finalised.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
