About Sugar
Meet Sugar!
Sugar is an easy-going and loving pup who loves people! She will happily spend her time snuggled up on the couch or in bed with her foster parents.
She knows her name and basic commands, and loves to snuggle. She also enjoys going for walks most days.
She also loves car rides and will happily go with you on drives and adventures!
Although Sugar can bark when new people come to the house, she soon settles in and becomes comfortable once she's used to them.
Due to her anxiety when left alone she needs someone home more often than not for companionship. She can become destructive when anxious/alone and may dig or chew things up.
Her foster carer has got her used to being outside alone for about 2 hours and inside alone for about 5.
This is something she may continue to get better with with training.
Sugar has almost got the hang of toilet training and will need a little more guidance from her new owners with this. A dog door may also help!
Her ideal home would include another dog that can keep her company. She is currently in foster care with 3 cats and is good with all of them! Sugar is good with kids but may get cranky if toddlers don't understand her boundaries so it's recommended she go to a home with kids over 6.
All in all, Sugar is a sweet and loyal pup looking for a forever home that can give her the love and attention she deserves.
