Wizard

Meet the most magical man in the land... the wonderful WIZARD of dogs! He adores people, revels in affectionate pats and scritches, and has a passion for treats, making him exceptionally trainable. Wizard is toilet trained, warmly greets new visitors, and exudes gentle, respectful energy.

Wizard is a sensitive, social and sooky big boy. He can be a little worried by novel objects and noises (eg new squeaky and loud toys!) He is looking for an owner who can offer gentle reassurance as he will look to you for guidance with his beautiful big, brown eyes. He will benefit from having a crate or space of his own he can retreat to if feeling overwhelmed, in the shelter he will take himself to bed for a snooze!

Wizard may be a little worried when initially meeting new people but warms up quickly, and becomes quite goofy, forgetting his size and thinks he is still a puppy! Wizard has beautiful lead manners when walking in quiet areas and will walk next to his humans. He may be suited to living with calm older children. He may also be suited to sharing his home with a tolerant social female doggy friend. Wizard would like to meet the whole family, dog included, at time of adoption. And prepare your heart, as I may steal it!
