Lavender

Lavender on coming into care had a full mouth extraction her teeth were so bad she is only 6.5 years old , Cavies are prone to Heart murmur s unfortunately it's in the breed and Lavender has a grade 3 murmur but on examination and x ray it is showing that at this point in time she does not require medication, this condition would have to be monitored and kept under veterinary advisement. 

Her left patella is Grade 1 and does not require surgery at this point and probably won't 

Who is going to love this wonderful dog 🐕 ❤️ 

Lavender will just melt your heart,  just look at her, She such a sweet presence She just Needs Somebody To Love Her but in saying that She will definitely need another dog in the same household, preferably another Cavie because cavies love cavies and She has just Lost a cavalier that was a friend of hers. She is quite Comfortable Here with The Other dogs but I would love to see Her buddy up with another cavalier because it just would make her life so much more rewarding, and she will thrive.

 Lavender seems to be getting on very well with all the other dogs around her, she's a little bit shy of me but I ve only had her here 2 days she s been in care for 4 weeks and has had her vet work done ,but she's coming around already and she is eating really well, she loves her food, the first night she wasn't keen on coming in but I got her inside and she s snuggled down in the bed under the table which is where a lot of them like to get comfy.

 I'll be looking for a very special home for lavender I always look for special homes for my dogs but in this case I think she deserves a little bit extra because she is such a sweetheart . I ll be looking for someone who s going to love her unconditionally and be able to give her the best possible life and as I said before she does need another cavalier, or another dog but I will give preference to someone who has another cav. If you would like to know more about lavender I would love to talk to you over the phone I don't give out application forms because I would prefer to talk to people, I know when l m talking to somebody if I feel that's the right home for this particular dog, and I can't get the same feeling from a piece of paper.
