About Lulu
Lucy is approximately 2.5yrs old and been in foster care where we’ve learned more about her and what is going to suit her in a forever home. We’ve decided she needs the ultimate adventure couple who she can get out with and live her best life with her.
She is VERY into her chosen human which can be very lovely but also a little relentless which means she needs a family that will work with her to build her independence. Lucy is young, athletic, and still has her puppy like energy and exuberance meaning she needs a very active home. The great thing with Lucy is once she gets comfortable with her family, she is happy to go anywhere, meet anyone, other dogs, and up for all kinds of adventures. It would be best for her to have at least 2 active walkers to spread her focus and meet her needs. She is an absolute doll on lead and a pleasure to walk staying nice and close. She definitely requires her zoomie time and has a pretty natural recall due to her 'cling on' feature.
Lucy needs to be in an only dog home (since no other dog in the home would be able to squeeze in any cuddles) and takes too much interest in cats for us to consider a home with a cat. Because of her undivided attention to her people, she would suit a home with no children, however teenagers could be fine.
It goes without saying she will be along side anyone who has pats on offer on the couch of an evening.
We expect it’s going to take some getting used to for Lucy to be left alone during a workday and she will need to be secured safely. She is timid at first until she's gained trust in her people and not the kind of dog that would cope well in kennels. A specific care plan would need to be made in advance for any travel where she’s not able to come along.
This girl has a bottomless pit of love and affection to give. If you have the time to invest and up for a slinky black Dane accessory to wear on your hip, please get in touch.
