About Alex - 3 Month Old Cattle Dog X (Trial)
Alex is a sweet boy and loves people and puppies alike. He is full of personality and loves to play with anyone and anything. He will follow you around the house and loves all company. He likes a good belly rub and lots of cuddles.
Alex has been having a great time with his foster sister, playing chases in the back yard and having a puppy wrestle. He loves playing with the big dog and shows no fear. Alex gets on great with people and dogs alike and is great with young children.
Alex is very brave and is a smart boy and therefore will pick up commands quickly. He will quickly pick up any habits other dogs may have at home.
Alex Overview
-Needs someone home with him most of the time or a friendly older dog
- Energetic, loving, smart, playful boy
- Loves children and other dogs
- Would be best suited with a family who will give him lots of attention and affection
- His new family will provide plenty of affection, exercise, and training
- Requires yard with secure fencing
- Will need to be returned to a DRN approved vet for desexing when approximately 5/6 months old
Alex's adoption fee is $700.00 which includes their desexing when they are old enough. It also includes their first two vaccinations. They have been treated for fleas and worms, and are microchipped.
Alex is in foster care in Belmont North, NSW. Since they are not yet desexed, they are only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. They’ll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when they are 5 to 6 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family
member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
