Rex

Let's Go Rexy! This guy is revved up and ready to go! Rex is a high energy guy looking for a family with a high energy lifestyle to take him on all of life's adventures.

Rex has come a long way since he first arrived at the shelter. Initially Rex was quite scared and confused, it was obvious the shelter environment was very overwhelming for Rex. However, with some time, Rex has shown us he is quite a sweet boy and enjoys some pats and cuddles.

During his time in the shelter, Rex has shown us he seems to be quite unbothered by most dogs so he could fair well in a home with a canine friend pending a meet and greet to ensure they will be the best of pals. Due to Rex's size and activity level, we do not recommend Rex goes to a home with small children.

Rex is a sweet boy with a gentle nature. He can appear intimidating, but his confidence is all an act. Rex is quite unsure about most things at first and he would love an owner who can help him build up his trust and confidence so he can really enjoy life. Rex has been a bit stressed at the shelter but we suspect he will calm down a bit once he arrives in his new home and has some routine about his day.

Rex has been responding well to his training sessions with the shelter staff. Rex will need an experienced dog owner who will provide him with the training and stability he needs to succeed.
