About Noodle
Introducing the sweetheart Noodle! Noodle is a Kelpie x born on 9th February 2023.
Noodle was brought in to us as an unmicrochipped stray & unfortunately no one came looking for her. When Noodle came in to us she was incredibly shut down & fearful or everyone and everything. While she is learning that humans aren't so scary, she does still urinate out of fear if she is approached too quickly. For this reason we are recommending a home with children over 10yrs or a child free home. Once she has time to settle with you she does become quite affectionate & sweet, just wanting love & gentle attention.
Poor little Noodle was very timid with other dogs. While there was no aggression seen, her tail was tucked the whole time.
If you have a calm, friendly dog at home we will happily do a meet & greet with them to see if she settles with them, otherwise we are recommending she be the only dog at home until she finds her confidence.
Noodle was scared of cats & pocket pets, however we believe that with a slow & controlled introduction she could be suitable to live with cats & pocket pets.
Noodle has shown no signs of separation anxiety when left alone & has no food aggression towards humans.
As Noodle is so fearful she should not be let off leash in open areas ie dog parks & beaches.
Noodle's adoption fee is $600 and includes her desexing, lifetime registration & current vaccination. Noodle is also regularly treated for flea and worms.

Noodle is located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
