About Giggles
Introducing the hilarious Giggles! Giggles is a Staffy x born on 3rd August 2022.
Giggles was brought in to us as an unmicrochipped stray & unfortunately no one came looking for her. When she was brought into the facility, Giggles was very scared & always had her tail tucked or was close to the ground, ready to hide if you came near. Since being with us she has completely come out of her shell & shows her hilariously beautiful personality to everyone she meets. Giggles received her name from staff who couldn't stop laughing at her antics & constant need for belly rubs. When she lays on her back, if you're not quick enough with the rubs she kicks her back legs out like a little froggy kick until you pay attention to her.
Giggles was great with other dogs & has now turned into one of our "dog testing dogs". She is very playful with male & female adult dogs, as well as puppies.
If you have a friendly dog at home we will need you to bring them in so we can ensure they get along before being adopted.
Giggles was very scared of cats & jumped about a meter sideways when one of our cats hissed at her. She may settle in a home with a dog friendly cat, otherwise they may be a bit too much for her at this stage.
Unfortunately Wren shows prey drive towards pocket pets so we are recommending a home with no pocket pets.
Giggles has shown no signs of separation anxiety when left alone & has no food aggression towards humans.
Giggles' adoption fee is $450 and includes her desexing, lifetime registration & current vaccination. Giggles is also regularly treated for flea and worms.
To enquire more or to meet Giggles, please call 0499 900 272 or email ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com and speak to one of our friendly staff.
Giggles is located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
