About Azure
They don’t come much sweeter than Azure, a 2-year-old kelpie x border collie whose loving nature is sure to win your heart.
Azure starts off a little timid with new people, but now that she knows people can be kind, it doesn’t take her long to come around and enjoy as much love and affection as you are willing to give. Bring out another dog, and all of her shyness disappears! Her favourite thing of all times is zooming at full speed or playing tug with her foster siblings. She gains a lot of her confidence from other dogs and will need a home with another confident and playful dog (or several).
Once she’s had her exercise, Azure has a great off-switch and has proven to be an easy working-from-home partner. She travels well in the car, sleeps quietly in her crate overnight, and is toilet trained. This country girl hasn’t been exposed to much of the world, and although she is doing well getting used to suburban life, she would prefer to live in a rural or quiet suburban area – city life would be too overwhelming.
She is looking for active humans who will allow her inside as part of the family, give her plenty of physical and mental stimulation and include her in all their adventures. Very young children might be too much for her – she might do better in a home without children or with older ones.
If you think you are a good match for Azure, send us details about the life you can provide her.
Azure is located in ACT.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
