About Axle
Axle is a happy-go-lucky boy that is very gentle and wants to please. He has an affectionate nature and always runs over for a pat.
Axle is good with kids and has taken on a big brother role with his foster family's toddler. He has loved every person he has met and also gets along well with both quiet and energetic dogs. Axle is a playful boy and enjoys his exercise, however he is also happy to lay at your feet for most of the day once his needs have been met.
Axle has great manners at dinnertime, he will sit and wait patiently for his dinner. He is happy to sleep alone and sleeps well through the night. He is a clever boy and has recently learnt how to play fetch with a ball. He knows basic commands such as sit, lay down & stay. Axle is currently working on his recall and walking on a loose lead which is improving every day. He will need continued work on this with his new family. He is not phased by cars, loud noises or farm machinery.
Axle would be suited to an owner with a moderately active lifestyle and lots of space or someone with another active dog to keep him busy as he is still young. He would ideally be suited to an owner with previous working dog experience who will continue with his training. As Axle is a young working dog his new family will need to provide both mental and physical stimulation to keep him happy and satisfied.
If Axle sounds like the boy for you, please send in an application today!
Axle is located in NSW.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
