About Calco
*In foster care in Coogee, Sydney*
Hey, I’m Calco!
A little bit about me: I’m *very* sweet and sociable! I’m happiest when I’m around humans and I warm to new people very quickly, so breaking the ice won’t be a problem for us. I used to live with other cats, so I’m open to living with other pets :)
If you’re looking for a relaxing companion, then I’m your girl!
I love to sleep in bed with my foster parents so much, so they jokingly call me a guard cat because I don’t leave their side! - but don’t worry, I'm also pleased when they go out to work because that means I can enjoy my chill time.
When I’m not cuddling or napping, I definitely like a good play session with my toys! I’m not very vocal, but I have a gentle meow that I’ll use when you tickle or talk to me. I'm a stunning sliver tabby with a little extra pizzazz which makes me one of a kind.
I have so much personality and love to give. Hopefully I'll get to meet you soon!
Like all Maggie's pets, Calco is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be calm and relatively quiet, but other than that I'm pretty easy! I'd enjoy living with another nice kitty or two, but I'd also be purrfectly happy as your one-and-only.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Play, snooze, repeat!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Not sure, as I haven't had the opportunity to meet any kids since coming into foster care but it’s safe to assume I would be fine with gentle children.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I get on really well with other cats and have even lived successfully with dogs in the past.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
