About Buddy - 10 Month Old German Shepherd X (Trial 8/10
“Woof woof, I’m Buddy, a male Shepard X Black Mouthed Curr and an all round good boy!
I adore humans and love to spend time with them. Sometimes I try to sit like they do to show them how much I love them.
I am super smart (not so humble brag) and at the ripe age of 11 months - already know how to sit, down, wait and offer my paw for a high five!
Not bad for a young pup right?
I love to run around with my toys and sometimes get the zoom, zoom, zoomies so I need a decent sized yard in my home.
The more active my future family, the happier I will be.
But I do enjoy a good snooze and kick up no fuss at bedtime. I have slept in a crate before. I often dream of my forever home and what it would look like…
My favourite toys are those indestructible ones like a thick rope or heavy duty Kong so I can chew, chew, chew.
I’m growing into a big dog, so I’m better suited to older kids so I don’t accidentally knock them over when we play. I think teenage kids would be my favourite and we could be best friends!
I’ve met loads of other dogs before and LOVE THEM. I’ve never met a cat, poultry or any other small pets yet.
Could I be the Buddy you need in your family, I think so!
To register your interest in adopting Buddy you can fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
PLEASE NOTE: When applying for our dogs and puppies, please ensure to list the name of the dog you wish to adopt. Please do NOT just list the reference number or the microchip number as this will delay your application reaching the correct foster carer.
You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au or www.petrescue.com.au
Buddy’s adoption fee is $600.00 which includes their desexing when they are old enough. It also includes their first two vaccinations. They have been treated for fleas and worms, and are microchipped.
Buddy is in foster care in Fullerton Cove, NSW area. Since they are not yet desexed, the are only available for adoption in the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. They will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when they are 5 to 6 months old.
PLEASE NOTE: Dog Rescue Newcastle provides individual listings with specific requirements for each foster dog. If you submit an application or inquiry and DO NOT receive a response within 5 business days, please understand that you have not met the specific requirements for this dog. Please do not be disheartened or discouraged, this simply means you were not a suitable match at this time.
