About Chilli
Now who doesn't love a puppy? This is Chilli, seriously cute, confident and happy little guy. He's not your typical puppy, who mouths and nips at you, and is quite mature and grown up! He is a black and tan German Shepherd x Kelpie, 15 weeks old and ready to go to his forever family. Chilli is the last of two brothers available from his litter.
He shows lots of German Shepherd characteristics, is protective of his environment and loyal to his family. He is used to being kennelled, spending time in dog runs and being free to roam and play in a large house yard. He has also been introduced to spending time inside with other dogs and people.
Chilli has been around lots of German Shepherds, Kelpies and two little fluffies. He settles well into a daily routine, enjoys his walks with all his dog friends in the paddocks and then happily rests and sunbakes. He has also had an interest to sheep.
He has had his first cafe outing, and loves relaxing under the table while you enjoy your coffee. He is very social, and loves meeting new people. He's had his first introduction to children.
If you think you can give him a new home please contact us by selecting "Enquire about Chilli".
If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive with your family to meet Chilli. If for any reason he doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing him back to Willow Tree or helping us to rehome from your home.
Medical notes
Chilli has been Microchipped, wormed regularly and had all of his vaccinations. He will need to be desexed when age appropriate.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
