About Sage
Now who doesn't love a puppy? This is Sage, seriously cute and is a very laid back little girl. She is a black and tan Kelpie, 10 weeks old and ready to go to her forever family. Sage has three brothers Chilli, Basil and Milo, who she loves to play with. Sage is the cheeky one of the litter, when she can escape from her brothers she will. She loves to sneak onto the veranda and steal her foster carers thongs and runs off with them.
Sage has been around lots of German Shepherds, Kelpies and two little fluffy dogs. She enjoys her walks with all her new friends in the paddocks and then happily rests and sunbakes.
Sage has been to the vets and been microchipped, regularly wormed and had her first C5 vaccination. She will need to be desexed when age appropriate.
If you think you can give him a new home please contact us by selecting "Enquire about Sage".
If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive with your family to meet Sage. If for any reason she doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing her back to Willow Tree or helping us to rehome from your home.
Medical notes
Sage is microchipped, has been wormed regularly and had her first C5 vaccination. She will need to be desexed when age appropriate. She is due for her second vaccination on 11/09/2023.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
