About Ripley - 12 Week Old Mixed Breed (Trial 1/9/23)
Ripley is a cute and cheeky 12 week old mixed breed puppy looking for a family of his own.
Ripley is lots of fun with a big personality. He loves giving kisses and playing with his foster brothers but once he’s burned some energy he loves to snuggle up on you for a nap.
Ripley has been working on his toilet training and has picked this up very quickly. As a young pup training and socialising are important to develop into a happy and well adjusted adult dog. We always recommend puppy school along with training at home to ensure the best start for puppies.
We are unsure of Ripley’s exact breed mix but he is quite small in stature and we believe he may be mixed with a small breed. He is expected to grow to a small/medium size dog. Ripley came into care with his siblings who were all extremely timid after spending their early weeks in a pound. Every day Ripley gets happier and braver but he is still unsure in new environments and needs a family who understands he may take some time to settle in to a new home and are willing to help him learn about the world.
Ripley currently lives with 3 other dogs who he loves to play with and would be happy with a furry sibling, however would also be ok as an only dog. He has met a cat and was interested but kept his distance. Ripley is currently an inside dog and must be allowed inside in his new home. He is only very small and needs good fencing without gaps a little puppy can squeeze through.
Ripley’s adoption fee is $700 which includes his desexing when he is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. He has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Ripley is in foster care in East Maitland, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when he's 5 to 6 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family
member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
