Felix

Felix is a healthy, thirteen year old gentleman who is looking for his forever home.

Felix's previous owner surrendered him to a vet clinic as they were entering residential care and could not take him along. They had brought Felix in for euthanasia as they believed that he was an unfriendly cat who could not be rehomed, but fortunately nothing could be further from reality!

Felix has absolutely blossomed in foster care and has shown that his nature is super sweet, calm, and friendly. Like most cats, he can be a little timid towards new people and new situations - he shows this by letting out a small, concerned hiss. Once he accepts that you're safe to be around (this takes maybe a few minutes), he will show you how smoochy and loving he is.

Felix had never lived with other animals as far as we know, but he has shown himself to be friendly with dogs, and with other cats. He can be sensitive though, so he would require other cats in the home to accept and not attack him as this makes him fearful and causes him to hide. He deserves a nice, comfortable retirement in a household that allows him to settle in and not have to worry about being bullied.

Felix has had a full health check, and has no known ailments. He's a very healthy boy, but was a little fat when he came in to care. His new home will have to monitor his food intake and activity level to ensure he is kept at a healthy weight. He prefers to spend his days snoozing in a warm spot, so it is essential to keep his portions controlled!
He does require a clean litter box, as he can be picky about using a dirty toilet. Your floors are safe as long as you provide him a couple of litter boxes to choose from, and keep them clean!

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
