Glockenspiel

** IN FOSTER CARE IN ENMORE**

Glockenspiel goes by many names, Glockie, The Glock and Glow Worm, she is a beautiful, dapple dachshund that found herself in a local pound facility scared and unsure. Not much is known about her past but what we do know is that she has cycled through a few homes and has been used for breeding. This has left the gorgeous girl very timid and scared and in need of a very special and understanding home.

After a few weeks in care, Glockenspiel is starting to decompress we are seeing a fabulous worm, who is now learning to have fun, and to accept love and affection, of which she is desperate for. She is a little rotund which is not ideal when you're long and low, so Glow is on a diet to help shed some of those extra kilo, her new family will need to continue with this so she can be trim and terrific.

Glockenspiel is a special little dog and whilst she has come along in leaps and bounds, she has a long way to go and requires a very particular, quiet home where she will be allowed to GLOW in her own time. She is housetrained, sleeps soundly through the night and enjoys pillow forts and taking her toys on adventures through the house.

MY IDEAL HOME: Glockenspiel is looking for a home with someone who has a lot of love, patience and ideally experience with a nervous dogs. Glockenspiel really is a girl's girl, she ideally would live in a female only home, however a man with patience, who understands that the relationship will take time will be considered.

Another small confident dog who could help show her the ropes and help her come out of her shell is ideally what we are looking for.

MY ENERGY LEVEL: Glockie does like a sleep… but does have mad 5 mins where she will run around, and has the cutest wiggle. She does enjoy a gentle daily stroll but it's important that this is in quiet streets and parks as she is still unsure when she sees people out and about.

MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Because of Glo's nervous nature, she is not suitable for a home with children.

MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Glockenspiel is ideally looking for a home with another gentle, confident small dog for company, she really lights up when she's around other small dogs and we think this will be helpful in helping her learn to trust.
She has not been tested with cats.
