Coco - Located in Kew

Hello my name is Coco and I am looking for a forever home with experienced dog owners who are able to continue my training.

I am a typical Pomeranian in that I am OBSESSED with people and full of energy. I love going on adventures, sniffing around and getting in the car. I do tend to be possessive of people and am picky over which dogs I like to meet so I would do best in a home without dogs. I have lived in a house with confident cats and I get along well with them but I do tend to get all up in their space. I’ve also occasionally warned them if they try to share my personal space on the couch or take my toys. I haven’t had much to do with children but sometimes I’ve been a bit frightened by unpredictable kids on walks so I’d be best in a house with older children only.

Usually I am terrific on walks however like many Pomeranians I am prone to becoming anxious, alert and loud at certain known triggers. I can also be quite chatty around the house if there’s lots happening outside. I am currently undergoing training to help desensitise me to these triggers. My behaviourist says I am very quick to learn coping techniques! I am also on medication that I will need to stay on for the next few months at least to help my anxiety.

I would do best in a home with my parents around most of the time and willing to provide lots of mental and physical enrichment. Overall I just want to spend as long as possible with my humans, cuddling and giving you endless kisses. Please let me know if you could be that person.
