Kobie is a gorgeous Blue Roan and Black Heeler x German Shorthaired Pointer with an adorable face is just 7 months old and has a zest for life. At just 23 kilos and his baby giraffe legs, how can you not fall in love.
Is super energetic as a puppy would be happy with daily walks and lots of room to run and play. He loves a snuggle and will nuzzle into you for affection. He follows you to be close as he doesn’t want to miss out.
He has a healthy appetite and loves a pig's ear treat and a tough kong to keep him occupied.

OBEDIENCE/ ENRICHMENT
Kobie being so young is still a puppy and loves to play. He follows basic commands: sit and stay. He always sits for a treat. He knows his name can come when called. Will play ball and bring it back to you. Being a puppy he definitely needs an abundance of toys and activities. Heis still learning his lead skills so does pull a little and will require further work but he is eager to please . He has been good with kids but also can be a little jumpy when excited so we seek a home with mature age children who are dog savvy .He plays well with other dogs in the dog park and is currently in care with a female dog and they have a ball. We feel Kobie would be fine with or without another dog as long as the yard is large enough for him to run and play and plenty of stimulation around to keep him entertained
He will need stimulation when alone for long periods, such as chewing on bones or toys. If left for too long, he can get bored and create his own entertainment lol . He is extremely quiet when he plays alone and gets super excited with company. Daily walks help to keep him active but its defiantly chew toys and stimulation
SLEEPING
He has been sleeping inside but can be disturbing as he likes to play after a few hours. He’s a napper during the day. He did wee inside the first few nights until he got used to going out the back. He can use a dog door. He has also slept outside and seems to be ok with that too.
SOCIALISATION
Kobie has been living with his 2 year old AMStaff X AM Bulldog for the past few weeks and they get along and play all day. They can also cuddle together.
Kobie would do well with another dog as a friend if not enough toys and stimulation whilst alone.
FOOD
Kobie has been eating Premium Puppy dry food and Prime 100 rolls which he enjoys He has a healthy appetite and also loves a treat.If another dog in resident we recommend feeding separately as he doesn't like to share his food
HYGIENE
Kobie has been bathed by the local groomers and dill well
TRAVEL/CAR
He needs encouragement to get into a car as he is still a little unsure but getting better as time goes on

IDEAL HOME:
A home with a large secure yard with plenty of shade and shelter and grass to run on
A home with or without another dog is fine but if there is another dog in residence we are seeking a med to large female who is well socialized and playful
A home whose family loves the outdoor life and have the time and motivation to take him for a good walk daily and treat him as a part of the family
A home that can keep him stimulated while they are not at home
A home with children is great but as we stated earlier he can jump when excited so if children in residence we seek a home with mature dog savvy children
