About Dusty
Dusty is the most lovable and affectionate little young fella. When he is left alone, he will greet you when you return with so much enthusiasm and affection, it’s as if he has been alone for days. He loves to be with his humans, and he is so loyal that he never detours far from our sides when we take him out in the yard.
Dusty is a happy, speedy, energetic, and playful young puppy. He loves to chase small moving objects such as balls and empty plastic bottles, he also puts everything from sticks to bugs in his mouth as most puppies do.
At night Dusty sleeps in his crate, he naps during the day on our couch or his dog bed. Our family is completely smitten by this adorable little fella. He will bring so much joy to a family or a person with lots of time, attention, and love to share with him.
A condition of our adoption agreement is that all dogs adopted from Chally MUST be put through obedience training, if you cannot meet this commitment please do not apply. All our dogs deserve the chance to be the very best they can be, and we will choose homes that will ensure this is the case.
IF YOU CAN TICK ALL THE BELOW BOXES, PLEASE POP IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION FOR US TO CONSIDER.
• You have a large secure yard
• Dusty will not be alone for more than 5 hrs
• You will allow Dusty to be part of the family and will allow him access to indoors with you.
• You WILL provide him with daily exercise AND mental stimulation.
• You WILL enrol him in obedience training.
Applications with extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer will be considered. Please provide the name of the obedience school you will be enrolling Dusty in.
PLEAS NOTE: if you provide basic details only, we will be unable to process your application sorry.
Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:
http://www.challyanimalrescue.org.au/adopt.php
** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
