About Louie
This beautiful boy is Louie, and he’s on the hunt for his forever people!
Louie is an affectionate boy and his hobbies include hanging out with his favourite people, playing with his rope toy and training walks.
Louis a bit of a ladies man but does love his foster dad as well.
His perfect day would be filled with playing with his rope toy and being around his hoomans.
Louie loves people and does jump to greet you, he has been improving but given his young age he needs someone committed to training and being consistent with boundaries around the house.
Louie has had separation anxiety in the past but we have found with the right routine and someone who is home more often than not he will continue to thrive.
He loves to be involved in everything going on around him, so if he can’t be included he will become anxious. This means that a quiet neighbourhood without lots of noises around him will be the ideal home.
Louie gets along with his foster brothers, a Staffy and German shepherd. However, he can be very impulsive and intense so if his forever home has another dog, they will need to be of a mature and calm nature.
Due to his high energy & excitability, he is not suitable for children under the age of 16.
Louie has undergone his second Double Pelvic Osteotomy. This was due to him having Hip Dysplasia so this needs to be considered by Louie’s forever people as he will be prone to things like arthritis in the future.
He has not been tested with cats while in foster care.
Louis is desexed, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments.
Medical notes
Louie has had a Double Pelvic Osteotomy due to Hip Dysplasia and therefore may be prone to arthritis in the future
