About Muffin
If you looked up 'Sweetheart' in the dictionary, it would have a picture of Muffin. This gorgeous little fluff ball is incredibly loving and affectionate once she feels comfortable and gets along with everyone. It doesn't take her long to warm up to people, and she'll let you know you've won her over by giving you plenty of headbutts to signal she's ready for all the pets and attention. She loves belly rubs, warm naps in the sun, curling up next to you on the couch, and playing with her best friend Harry.
She's famous for giving quite strong headbutts to signal she wants affection. Muffin also does a 'duck and roll' where she'll push her head against you and then do a somersault so she rolls onto her back, hoping to get belly rubs. Gentle and loving, she'll push her little head against you or rub you in request for pets.
Muffin is inquisitive but shy, independent but affectionate. If you've never owned a cat before, Muffin is the best first choice as she's so easy to care for, low maintenance, and very laid back. She's a fairly quiet cat, who makes the cutest little chirping sound. She is well litter trained (though does have a preference for her litter being cleaned regularly), isn't fussy about food, and gets along with other cats.
Muffin has lived in a large 5 bedroom home, and a smaller 2 bedroom unit and thrived in both. As long as she has a window to look out of and a warm spot in the sun with a soft blanket, she's content.
Muffin can be easily spooked by loud sounds, sudden movements, or large crowds of people. She loves a quiet, private place to hide and some gentle comforting. A home with big dogs or energetic dogs would not suit Muffin, but she gets along well with her feline friends.
With a very heavy heart, Muffin's owner has made the difficult decision to rehome him due to a combination of reasons beyond control. If you have room in your heart to love a larger than life kitty, and even his best friend Harry (who is the quirkiest and most loving cat), this might be your sign. Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
