About Tootles
This handsome guy is Tootles, a domestic medium hair born 25th November 2018.
Tootles was brought in as an unmicrochipped street cat. He was completely covered in his own filth from being in the trap overnight & he clearly had some battle wounds on him. He was quite shy & would try to squish into the back of his enclosure, but when we got him out to try bathe him he was very well behaved. While he didn't enjoy the bath, he wasn't aggressive at all, he was just trying to climb out of it. He was also quite well behaved when we cut the matted hair away from his back end.
He is currently being treated for conjunctivitis & his eyes are now looking much clearer than when he arrived.
Tootles can still be timid when meeting new people & while this may change once he's settled into a home environment, we feel he would be more comfortable with either no children, or children over 12yrs.
Tootles has been tested with male & female cats & he gets along well with both. He would be suitable to live with other cats, or to be a spoilt "only child".
While Tootles hasn't officially been tested with dogs, he is completely unfazed when they walk past his enclosure.
Tootles is a very sweet boy who loves having his back stroked while he's eating. He also enjoys a gentle rub on his gloriously chubby cheeks & is quite happy being carried around.
Tootles is litter trained and would make a wonderful addition to most families.
Tootles is such a gorgeous guy and given the condition he arrived in, he will be rehomed to a family who are willing to keep him as an inside cat only.
If you think you could be that furever family for Tootles, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Tootles' adoption fee is $200 & this includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. He is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Tootles is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
