Introducing the very sweet Zelda!

This gorgeous girl is looking for a home to call her own!

Zelda thoroughly enjoys the company of people but as she is unsure about handling she needs a dog-savvy family who understands that sometimes she will need her space. So she is suitable to go to a home with secondary school-aged children or adults who is able to give her time and patience to grow comfortable with handling. Zelda has some improvement with handling while spending time in our North Melbourne shelter and still has some way to go, but she will continue to improve and make the greatest companion you never knew you needed.

Zelda hasn't had the best time around other dogs resulting in a fear of dogs. This means she will need to be the only dog in the house and may never be able to trust another dog. Due to this, she will also need to keep clear of any high-dog traffic areas, like parks and beaches.

Zelda is a large breed therefore will need a home with a spacious backyard for her to explore but also welcomed inside as part of the family, therefore not suitable to an apartment.

But don't worry, this girl will be able to give you all the love and friendship you need! She will spend plenty of time with you outside playing her favourite game, fetch!
