About Dusty
REQUIREMENTS FOR DUSTY’S NEW HOME
- A home with another playful desexed dog (not senior or puppy)
- A inside outside lifestyle, and to be able to sleep inside of a night.
- A good size yard to play in.
- No young children.
- A patient and dedicated owner who will continue his training
- To be taken for walks regularly to keep in fit and healthy.
Dusty is a fun-loving pup who loves being around people, children and dogs. He will play with the children and other dogs in his foster home until he is ready for a nap. Dusty will chase and chew a ball but hasn’t worked out yet how to bring it back. He enjoys napping in the sun, on a sunny day and will happily move to the lounge for a nap on cooler days or to be with his humans. Dusty is supper friendly and excited when seeing people he knows, but a little shy when meeting new people. His play at times is very enthusiastic and can get a little rough with the children. Dusty can get a little frightened around loud noises but is improving. He is pretty good to walk on the lead but like all pups he is easily distracted. He will need someone that has patience for the typical antics of a pup and that has time to continue his training to walk well on the lead and continue with his toilet training. Dusty has enjoyed sleeping inside of a night and would like to continue this in his new home. He is living currently with cats and will occasionally bark at them so close supervision would be needed with cats and continued training to live in harmony with them.

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet. We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
