Buddy

Buddy is a 6 year old male mixed breed dog who was once a beloved family member but his life was turned upside down when he and his bonded bestie Milly were surrendered to a remote outback pound.

Dear old Buddy has a medical condition called Intervertebral Disc Disease which is managed with a simple pill a day but sadly while he was impounded, Buddy was unable to see a vet and went without his medication for a couple of weeks, resulting in partial paralysis and muscle wastage in his hips and back legs.

Fortunately now that Buddy is in foster care and back on his medication he is up and running again but we are looking for a special home for him where he can be given the ongoing care he needs to ensure his health stays in tip top condition.

Buddy is a friendly and well mannered dog. He gets along well with others and enjoys lots of pats and cuddles. He would love to go to a home with his best friend Millie but we understand this is difficult.

We are happy to provide ongoing support and advice with Buddy's vet care and can offer a foster-to-adopt arrangement to the right applicant if needed.
