About Cefer
Cefer is a smooch. He spoons in bed. He snuggles. He purrs. There may be the occasional snore - he’s an old man after all.
Cefer is confident and will sit amongst your friends and grab the attention. He is used to being fed special tidbits from the table!
Cefer is 15 years old. He has a touch of athritis and has spent his life with fairly severe luxating patella’s in both knees - therefore would love a home without heaps of stairs. He adores soft furnishings. Tolerates other cats but prefers to not be in their company. A single cat household will suit him better. Can occasionally swipe so no small children. Loves a good snooze in the sun.
Cefer also has IBD and will be on steroids for life. He currently eats hyper allergenic food.
Cefer is strictly an indoor only guy. He’s to old for adventures and prefers his retirement to be in soft beds.
Medical notes
Cefer has a touch of arthritis in his legs and elbows. We have him on meloxicam. He also has spent his life with quite severe luxating patella’s in his knees. His legs occasionally pop and he is on medication for this.
Two teeth have holes but a dental isn’t necessary at this time. He does need annual checks.
Cefers kidney, liver and thyroid function are good.
Cefer has IBD - Inflammatory Bowel Disease and this is being managed with steroids which he will need for the remainder of his life.

Adoption details
Our adoption costs cover microchipping, desexing, up to date vaccinations to time of adoption.
All cats over 6 months will have had a FIV test.
All cats are desexed before adoption.
We offer a minimum two week trial on all cats. We will refund the adoption fee and take the cat back within this time frame if the adoption does not work out. We provide assistance throughout this period and have an Adopters Club on Facebook.
We do not adopt out single kittens to busy households with no one home all day.
If you are a busy household and after just one cat please consider a juvenile or adult.
Kittens are very social and require company - if the family is out at work and school all day long - it’s just not fair on the kitten.
We adopt to indoor only homes. We put so much work into saving our fosters lives we cannot risk them being hit by cars in an outdoor environment.
We ask interested adopters to please fill in a short application and attend a meet and greet before committing. We want to ensure the cat is the right fit for you.
We do not transport kittens interstate. Sydney only please.
