About Jillaroo
Our little Kelpie girl is ready to find her forever home.
She's little . She's adorable and she's a little girl FULL of personality
Gorgeous Jillaroo is the most amazing puppy. Jillaroo is easy to train and extremely independent. Jillaroo loves being outside and watching birds, playing with toys and herding the other dogs in the house. Jillaroo will come for a quick pat and cuddle before running to get back outside. This little gorgeous girl is Kelpie all the way with her smart, wanting to learn brain, her love of rounding up the resident dogs lol and her zest for life. At just 5 kilos she will be a typical small Kelpie size and definitely a great member for the right family home

Food
Jillaroo is currently eating twice a day of premium dog food. Jillaroo will sit patiently and wait for her food. Jillaroo shows no signs of food aggression
Jillaroo loves chicken and we have been using boiled cut chicken for treats when training her.
Sleeping
Jillaroo will either curl up on her dog bed, couch and in the morning will come up for a snuggle on the bed to let you know that she is awake and excited to go play outside. During the day she will put herself to sleep on a bed outside or come inside for a little nap
Toileting/Training/Walking
Jillaroo is fully house trained However I would expect during the settling in period for her to have a couple of accidents until she is comfortable in her new surroundings.
Jillaroo has learnt to sit, stay, drop and shake hands.
Jillaroo is not fully vaccinated but enjoys walking around the front yard on lead and watching people cars and other dogs walk past. Jillaroo loves her practicing her walking on lead. Jillaroo will need daily walks once fully vaccinated. As she is a puppy smaller walks for now and increasing in length as she gets older.
Jillaroo will need to attend puppy school to further her training and socialization skills. Jillaroo is ready to start puppy school asap.
Exercise/toys
Jillaroo loves being outside and playing with her toys. She loves playing fetch, playing with puzzle toys, digging in the sandpit and playing in the ball pit. Jillaroo would be fantastic at flyball and agility classes when old enough.
Children
Jillaroo is great with the teenagers in the house. Jillaroo does have mouthy behaviors occasionally. So we are NOT seeking a home with smaller children.
Dogs
Jillaroo currently lives with numerous dogs of all different ages and gets along with all of them with no issues. If you have another dog in residence they must be male and well socialized. Jillaroo loves to play round up with the resident dogs ( even if they dont want too lol ) so if another dog in residence we are seeking a high energy MALE only that will not mind being harassed by an annoying little puppy insisting on him playing lol
Jillaroo has not been tested with cats, but due to her age we see no issues homing her with a cat.
Travel
Jillaroo travels well in the car
Ideal Home
A home with a big backyard with grass, shelter, and secure fencing PLEASE DO NOT DEFINITELY DO NOT bother applying if you do not have a large yard as she will not be suited to a small or a courtyard style yard
A home with or without children, they must be dog savvy children and definitely mature who can handle puppy behavior
If dog in residence must be Male who is well socialized and tolerant of puppy behaviors
We think Jillaroo would be brilliant in a home that are seeking a pup to do either agility or fly ball etc as she certainly has the smarts and breeding to be great
A daily walk. Short walks while she is a puppy and her bones are developing. A moderate-long walk when older and has more energy to burn.
A lot of love and training! Jillaroo should be welcomed as part of the family and not just left on her own in the backyard all the time. Her new owner should dedicate time to training and take her to puppy classes
She is young enough to learn if you have a dog savvy cat.
We recommend children in the home to have prior dog/puppy exposure before your family applies for a young pup, as puppies do teeth and have sharp little puppy teeth.
A home that will offer plenty of stimulation
