About Zelda
Zelda is a fiesty little lady looking for a special home. A typical Chi, she is a real firecracker and does not take kindly to strangers (be it the human or dog variety). She is reactive to people and dogs on walks so for this reason will need a home away from built-up inner-city suburbs. She will also bark at foreign noises outside the home so probably wouldn't suit an apartment with shared walls to neighbours! She'd be happiest as the only dog in the home but has shown she can co-exist with others (provided the other dogs have the right temperament).
Now for the good, and oh there is so much good! Once Zelda trusts you (which will take a day or so) she is EXCEPTIONALLY sweet and affectionate and will be your most loyal companion! She's not a dog for Nanna's lap, being just shy of 2 years old she is very playful, bouncy and energetic. She'll do parkour off your furniture and zoom around the house, and when she wants to go for a walk she can be very demanding! She is still having toileting accidents inside but we're confident with a doggy door and free access to outdoors this wouldn't be an issue. She loves playing with her toys, especially stuffed toys that she can disembowel. She doesn't have separation anxiety so full time workers are fine. A mature, childless couple who are patient and understanding of her behaviour and will commit to proper management of her when they have visitors or are out in public with her is what this gorgeous girl needs.
