About Toyota
Toyota was found in the engine bay of a Toyota Car with burns to her face and singed fur. Luckily she is a tough cookie and was found by the mechanic in time. She has made a full recovery and is now ready for her forever home.
She is a beautiful, good natured cat but is quite shy to start with. She prefers the company of one over the many, selecting one family member as her person.
She will follow that person to the ends of the earth, sleeping with them and playing games such as chasies and with toys.
She has had quite the rough start as a stray when humans weren't friends so she will prefer a quiter home with older kids or a couple where she can continue to gain confidence and be the snuggley girl we know she wants to be.
Medical notes
Had burns to her face and body but have healed and regained fur over the past 4 months and she has made a full recovery.
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website https://radarescue.org/adoption
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within two weeks of the adoption.
