About Lola
Hi! My name is Lola and I am 8 months old. I am a tiny and petite 1.8kg, short hair chihuahua, with a lot of sass and the cutest little prance you ever did see.
My foster family think I am super adorable and would be a great addition to many kinds of families, but it’s probably best that they give you a better idea about me and my story..
Lola! What a bundle of joy, energy and love ability.
This gorgeous girl stole our hearts immediately, and made herself known. She didn’t come in quietly. Said her piece and made it known she had arrived.
For the first week, she still played it cool and slightly timid while she found her feet, but the sassy little pup was actually really getting to know her surrounds so she could claim this territory as hers. Yes, she has an alpha personality to boot!
Lola is the perfect mix of playtime puppy, little guard dog, lap dog and love giver. When she bonds with her person, it’s a strong one. She will greet you in the morning dancing on her hind paws, front paws, waving and tale a million miles an hour, so excited to see you after her sleep.
Lola absolutely loves to play, either by herself, with you or with another four legged friend. She loves to explore the toy basket and pull out everything she can. She tends to have a couple of favourite toys which have stayed intact, though most soft toys have been torn to shreds and thoroughly dissected!
Lola loves a daily walk, particularly in the afternoon. Walk, dinner, playtime then bed, she easily settles into her bed in the crate and falls asleep. She does bedtime routine beautifully.
Lola prefers to be friends with smaller dogs, and could maybe go into a household with another small dog, one who is friendly and playful. She is also very friendly with older children, so would make a wonderful family pet where she would get showered with love, attention and played with.
She is toilet trained but like all chihuahuas isn’t a fan of the rain so would prefer to use a pee mat. She isn’t sure of the dog door yet.
If you think your family would suit Lola please complete an expression of interest.
Medical notes
8 month old Lola is desexed and microchipped. She is up to date with vaccinations, as well as flea, tick, intestinal worm and heart worm prevention.
Lola has had a recent dental surgery to remove all of her deciduous teeth that weren’t budging.
She has had a full vet check and is in good health.
