About George
George is a perfect cat - he is a calm, content and independent boy. He loves nothing more than playing with his toys, laying in the sun, having a snuggle or snoozing on his favourite chair. He is happy to determine his own daily agenda, sometimes seeking out a snuggle and sometimes preferring a cozy spot for an independent nap.
His favorite toy is a tinsel ball which he carries around the house, but he also loves climbing his cat tree, chasing the laser pointer and batting around his little mouse toys. George isn't scared to use his voice when he needs something but he never meows for no reason. George has done well when his foster parents have been out of the house.
When George is ready for snuggles he likes snuggles with a capital S. He'll curl up in your arms, on your lap or on your chest. He especially likes climbing up and hanging from your shoulder where he can rub up against your neck and face. When he's up for it, his foster family will even carry him around while doing some housework - he's become particularly adept at making tea (after some close inspection he's decided peppermint tea is far too spicy for him)
George isn't scared of new people but may take a few minutes before asking them for pats. He has previously lived with children but would prefer a home with older or no children as he just wants a calm and happy life. He currently lives with a dog who he has a good relationship with. While he may be suitable for a home with a calm and kind dog, he will need some space initially until trust has been built between them both. George does not like other cats so needs to live in a home without any other resident or visiting cats.
More than anything George is looking for a loving, calm home with comfy chairs and loving arms where he can retire in luxury. If you think George is the purr-fect fit for you, we'd love to hear from you!
