Rocco - 10 Month Old Beagle (Hold)

Rocco is a certified Good Boy. The fact that the certification may have come from a Cornflakes box is neither here nor there!

Rocco is a 10 month old beagle, who is sweet, gentle, cheeky, and delightfully inquisitive. He loves everyone he meets, people and other doggos included, he’s even fond (and respectful) of grumpy cats who don’t want anything to do with him. He loves nothing more than cuddling up to his humans. He’s a genuine sweetheart with a smooshy face.

He’s still learning his leash manners, and he’s sometimes so excited to be out on a walk that he does little kangaroo hops! He knows how to sit, but is still working on the finer intricacies of “stay” and “how did you get that toilet roll?!”. But he’s VERY food motivated, so he’ll learn quickly, AND he’s only two dog treats away from being your new best friend!

Rocco loves to have company, so his ideal new home would have either a resident doggo, or a family member home more often than not. He is fine at his foster home where the resident humans are full-time workers, but he would fret if he didn’t have a dog friend for support. He sleeps indoors and has pretty good house manners, but also copes fine with being outside during the day when the humans are out. He is great with kids, but school age kids might be a better fit, as he is bouncy and flouncy and may inadvertently knock younger kids over!

Rocco is currently being fostered in Cameron Park (Lake Macquarie), NSW, and his adoption fee is $800.
