The gorgeous little stumpy legged cuddly and ever so sweet Theodore is now seeking his forever home

This loving and affectionate little guy is a chubby little 7’5 kilo Jack Russell Terrier x Im pretty sure is Corgi

Theodore will make you feel like you've won the jackpot, he has so much love to give!

He loves nothing more than a snuggle session and a belly rub. It doesn't take much to please this little man.

Theodore is your typical lap dog. If he's not on your lap he's snuggled up into your side.

He lives for his walks, you'll sometimes find that he doesn't want to go home if it hasn't been long enough!

He is a bit of a foodie, any unattended food may be tasted without your permission.

But overall he's a well behaved little man.

Theodore doesn't like yelling, he tends to run away from the noise. A quiet household will be best suited for him.

He's not a fan of the vacuum cleaner either... but let's be honest who is? 🤣

He is great with children, he will take all the pats and kisses he can get. He's also very gentle.

Theodore is not big on playing with toys , he much prefers a good cuddle and kiss

Theodore has loved everyone he has met in his foster care journey. He will get so excited over every human he sees on the streets, the tail doesn't stop wagging.

Theodore is toilet trained, he does use the doggy door to go outside.

We've had 2 accidents when he hasn't had access to the outside.

Favorite things.

Theodore's favorite things are belly rubs, pats, walks and most definitely the couch.

He loves snacks and human food on the side.

Interactions with humans.

Theodore loves everyone he meets, he's definitely a people dog.

He is gentle and loving with all size humans

Animal social skills.

Theodore does take a little while to warm up to other dogs. He definitely doesn't need another dog, he would prefer to be in an only dog house with all the attention on him and only him! When we introduced him to another dog, a very gentle female we found he seemed to be very jealous of any attention she got so we cannot see him being a great second dog in the home. He definitely wants to be the one and only one to be loved lol

We did manage to walk him nicely with a female after an initial few little growls and barks of annoyance from him to have another dog getting attention lol but he did settle down for a stroll with her after a few minutes

Obedience and training.

Theodore does sit, he walks very well on a lead and travels well in the car. He's just so well behaved , the perfect little man ….

Food.

Theodore isn't fussy with food. When he first came to us and he was finding his feet I mixed some rice and mince in with his dry food just to get him to eat something. But I haven't had to do that for a while now.

He's currently eating #Savourlife dry food.

Independence.

Theodore has proven to be fine being left by himself without any issues but would definitely love someone who is home more than not if he had his wish

Bath and hygiene.

Theodore's most least favorite thing is a bath. We found this out very quickly! You will need two people to bath him, because he will just try and jump out the whole time! Once your done bathing Theodore you will discover you have all been bathed 😅.

Sleeping.

Theodore is a brilliant sleeper. He loves to sleep in. He does sleep on the couch every night. It's his favorite spot in the house.

Exercise.

Theodore loves his small daily walks.

He only has little legs, they generally last about 20-25 mins at his own pace. He loves to stop, sniff and people on most things.

Ideal home. / Adoption Criteria

Theodore doesn't need a large yard but does need an outdoor area to get some sun on nice days and to go to the bathroom

A no pet home

Children in the home are fine but we seek gentle loving, kind dog savvy children

A home that are prepared to take him on his daily walk
