About Jack
Jack has an joy and enthusiasm for his rescued life. He can't belief his luck to find a loving home with kind humans and a patient foster auntie an older female greyhound.
Jack is a goofy, smoochy cuddler. He loves to lean into you for the maximum body contact. A belly rub will almost certainly result in a delighted roach ( lying upside down with legs in the air)
Jack is getting the hang of being a loved pet, comfortable in the house and learning what he should and maybe shouldn’t do. He is toilet trained and sleeps happily in the longe room with his greyhond auntie. They get along fine and she keeps him company while the humans are out of the house for a few hours. We are unsure how Jack would be home alone without a canine companion for company. He is very happy to accompany you to work or visit the grandparents rather than spend the whole day alone.
Jack enjoys two 20 minute walks most days. His foster carers are building up his stamina for those longer weekend walks. On his walks he enjoys meeting the neighbours and is happy to greet polite larger and medium sized dogs. He is still a bit weary of those little happy things. On his walks there are many comments about his unusual corkscrew, twirly tail.
Jack is getting the hang of car rides, learning to jump in and out.
Toys are Jack’s main thing. He loves his toys, especially squeaky ones and balls. He can keep himself entertained and try to impress you with his antics with toys including tossing them in the air to catch them a moment later. A skilled juggler.
Jack is the perfect for a home that wants an engaging boy who would love to be included is your daily routine. He is easy, confident, and just a little bit handsome. Well, a lot handsome actually.

Adoption details
Dogs are pack animals and Greyhounds, in particular, are very familiar with being surrounded by other dogs in their racing kennel environment. For this reason, when left alone without people or other dogs for company, some can be prone to separation anxiety which can manifest in destructive and/or noisy behaviour.
As a result we look to rehome dogs into households where they are not left on their own for more than 4 hours per day on a regular basis, without either people or another dog for company. We are happy discuss strategies such as a dog walker or doggy day care. Going to work with you is also a great option
