-Best As Only Dog
-Outgoing & Confident
-Approx. 18kg
Thor is a charming dog eager to find a forever home with an owner who has prior experience with dogs and can provide him with the love and care he craves.
Thor's adaptable nature makes him a great fit for any type of household. Whether you live in a bustling and lively home, prefer a calm and serene environment, or live an active and outdoorsy lifestyle.
While he enjoys being around humans of all ages, he would do best in a home with older children of 15 years and up. Thor's enthusiastic nature might be a little overwhelming for younger kids, but with older ones, he will undoubtedly become a devoted and playful mate.
Thor is not suited to live with other dogs, cats or pocket pets. He exibits stress-like behaviour when around other dogs, and his strong prey drive might make it challenging for him to coexist peacefully with smaller animals. However, if you're looking for a solo furry friend, Thor will shower you with all the love and attention you could hope for!
Thor is an independent spirit and would appreciate having free access to both indoors and outdoors. A medium to large yard with high, secure fencing is the ideal setting for him to explore and play safely.
His confident temperament and outgoing nature make him a joy to be around. Thor is a medium to high energy dog who would thrive with regular exercise and daily walks. This active lifestyle will not only keep him physically healthy but also mentally stimulated and happy.
While he is friendly, Thor could benefit from some post-adoption training at home. He walks on a lead but tends to pull, so leash training will help refine his walking manners. Rest assured, he isn't much of a barker, and inside his kennel, remains calm and content.
One thing to note is Thor's enthusiasm for treats, which might make him overly excited when taking them. However, when he's in a calm state, he'll gently accept treats, showing his sweet and well-mannered side.
Thor's intelligence and eagerness to please are evident in the commands he already knows. He responds to his name, sits, and shakes hands. With his quick learning ability, there's no doubt that he'll excel in further training, becoming an even more obedient and loving companion.
His love for playtime knows no bounds, and Thor adores all kinds of toys. From fetch to tug-of-war, he's always up for a good time, making him the perfect playmate for an active and engaged owner.
