About Juliette
Juliette thinks cuddles are the best part of her day and looks forward to sharing the couch with her human. Juliette’s calm affection will ensure you know you are loved, when you get home on after rough or stressful day, her cuddles will tell you everything is alright. If you stop patting you may be reminded to keep going by her “paw-for-more”
In her home, Juliet likes to know what’s going on but is not too clingy. She has been happy to snooze while her humans have popped out for a couple of hours. Juliet sleeps in the lounge room but sometimes pops into the human bedroom to give a morning smile and wag. Just to let you know it’s the morning and another fabulous day has begun. More cuddles please.
Juliet is happy with a 30 minute walk early in the day and another shorter walk in the evening before heading to bed. Out and about she walks well on lead and is happy to take in the sights and smells. She isn’t too bothered by traffic or busy footpaths. Juliette is polite with other dogs she meets, preferring to spend time with calmer dogs like her and prefers to just walk by the more excitable jumpy ones. Of course, Juliette will make sure she greets every greyhound she can spot in the neighbourhood.
Juliette is learning quickly all the life skills of a rescued hound in the home. She can manage steps, getting the hang of the doggy door and knows she isn’t allowed on the human bed, although she does think just having your two front paws on the bed asking for a pat doesn’t count.
Juliet will be a favourite family member for any home lucky enough to adopt her. She has the perfect mix of calm with a healthy dash of cheekiness. This elegant blue girl with her fluffy white chest brings joy to all she meets.

Adoption details
Dogs are pack animals and Greyhounds, in particular, are very familiar with being surrounded by other dogs in their racing kennel environment. For this reason, when left alone without people or other dogs for company, some can be prone to separation anxiety which can manifest in destructive and/or noisy behaviour.
As a result we look to rehome dogs into households where they are not left on their own for more than 4 hours per day on a regular basis, without either people or another dog for company. We are happy discuss strategies such as a dog walker or doggy day care. Going to work with you is also a great option
