Venice is a sweet and affectionate girl looking for her perfect forever family. If you're someone with experience in owning dogs, she might just be the furry friend you've been searching for!
She has a sensitive and comfortable temperament, making her a great match for a calm and quiet household, or an active and outdoorsy family who enjoys spending time in nature.
She is open to meeting kids of any age, and is known for being gentle and patient with them.
Her sociable and playful behaviour extends not just to humans but also to fellow furry friends—Venice loves to meet other dogs too! While she is known to be dog-social, she hasn’t had much interaction with cats or pocket pets, so it's uncertain how she would react to them.
Having access to both indoors and outdoors is essential for her. She'd really thrive in a home with any size yard that has secure and high fencing to keep her safe during playtime. Her energy needs are moderate, so daily walks and regular exercise would be beneficial for her overall well-being.
She is a very adaptable and agreeable dog, which means she'll fit right into a variety of family settings. She is content being at home and spending time with her humans, and with her independent nature, she is also fine with some alone time during the day.
Venice is open to learning new things and would benefit from somepost-adoption training at home to reinforce good behaviour. When it comes to playtime, Venice is not too fussed about toys, she prefers the personal interaction with her carers. On top of that, she has a very affectionate side, and is always ready to show love and receive it in return. Cuddles and belly rubs? Count her in!
If you're looking for a loving companion with a balanced temperament and moderate energy levels, Venice could be the perfect addition to your family.

Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
