About Jenna
Introducing the little cutie Jenna!
Jenna is a French Bulldog born on 25th December 2020.
Jenna was surrendered to the facility as her owner unfortunately passed away. She is obviously very much out of sorts as she's been taken from her home, spent a night with her owners sister & was then brought in to us. As her owners siter only had her for one night she wasn't able to let us know much about her personality in a home environment, but we do know that she is house trained. She's friendly with adult strangers but hasn't been socialised with young children, so we're not sure how she is with them.
Jenna tested well with other dogs, however she isn't overly interested in them. She seemed unfazed by their company & wasn't initiating play with them. Because of this we are recommending either she be the spoilt "only child" or in a home with another calm dog. If you have a friendly, calm dog at home we will need you to bring them in so we can ensure they get along before being adopted.
Jenna showed no interest in cats or pocket pets. We believe that with a slow & controlled introduction she would be fine to live with smaller animals.
Jenna can be a little shy to start off with, but she is a gentle sweetheart. She does like to climb on you for a cuddle & kiss.
Jenna has shown no signs of separation anxiety or food aggression towards humans since she has been at the facility.
Jenna's adoption fee is $900 and includes her desexing, lifetime registration & current vaccination. Jenna is also regularly treated for flea and worms.

Jenna is located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
